In 1995, at the age of 16, You Xiaowei came from the countryside of Longquan to Yunhe County — "China's Wooden Toy City" — starting as an apprentice and gradually mastering the entire wooden toy production process. In 1999, at just 20 years old, he started his own business, renting a small house in Yunhe and founding a wooden toy workshop with about 10 workers.
From officially registering "Yunhe Jinertai Wooden Craft Factory" in 2002, to founding "Zhejiang Jinertai Toys Co., Ltd." in 2005, to today's modern enterprise with 49,888 sqm of factory space, 500+ employees, and nearly 3,000 products exported worldwide — You Xiaowei has spent over two decades of dedication and innovation to transform a small workshop into a benchmark enterprise in China's wooden toy industry.
He is not only an entrepreneur but also a guardian and master of wooden toy culture. He has been honored with titles including "Zhejiang High-Skill Leading Talent," "Lishui Craft Art Master," and "Senior Technician of Chinese Wooden Toy Design" — enjoying talent allowances from the Zhejiang Provincial Government. As a member of the Yunhe County CPPCC, Vice President of the Yunhe Toy Association, and Vice Chairman of the Yunhe Federation of Industry and Commerce, he actively promotes the transformation of Yunhe's wooden toy industry from traditional manufacturing to branding, cultural preservation, and intelligent production.
